The foundation's aim is to promote the use of 'Pimba Music Notation' as developed by Anton Treffers for use in beginning music education/self-study.
The foundation wants to achieve this by making teaching materials and associated explanations/support available for beginners free of charge at www.pimba.nl.
The foundation depends on donations and legacies for its income.
The foundation board consists of the following people:
